It’s the year of the Tiger

It’s the little things that matter – and at ‘It’s the Little Things’ nursery in the Parkhaven Trust grounds in Maghull last week the kiddies were celebrating the Chinese New Year in style.

Being the Year of the Tiger, owner Louise Waller explained: "Linking the Chinese dragon and the tiger symbol, the children have made a Tiger Dragon – sort of."

In fact, the finished beast really was quite impressive when a group of tots, two to five year old, got inside to parade around the nursery garden.

"It was all part of the Year of the Tiger celebration we held here – the children made tiger face masks and we had Chinese music and food tasting as well," she said.
