Tots off to big school
There were 14 very proud little ones at Maghull’s It’s the Little Things nursery last week - Graduation Day had arrived.
For the first time since the nursery opened three years ago, the children leaving for ‘big school’ were given a real send-off with a party, scroll, a real graduation cap and gown to wear - and of course a small leaving present for each one.
Part owner Louise Waller said many of them had been with the nursery from the start - when they were indeed babies.
"So we decided to say a proper ‘goodbye’ to our first clutch - a big thing," she said.
In fact the kiddies took turns to wear the cap and gown, bought specially for their big day. And as a special treat they were all taken to the Empire in Liverpool to see a production of Lazytown.
