Santa set to visit nursery
Father Christmas will be taking time out of his hectic schedule to visit Maghull’s It’s the Little Things Nursery.
On Sunday, December 18 between 2pm and 4pm, he will be greeting visitors at his grotto in the woodland at the Parkhaven Trust site.
Following the success of last year’s woodland grotto, the nursery is now introducing it as an annual community event. Owner Louise Waller said: "We had a lot of people who turned up unplanned last year. They’d had enough of queuing and decided to give us a go. When they came, they wouldn’t leave! Some people stayed for the full two hours drinking tea and chatting while their children made Christmas pictures and played.
"We always wanted to introduce a community event for the festive season that made use of our beautiful surrounds. Everyone is encouraged to wrap up well and be prepared to get outside – at least to see Santa – and hopefully to take their wish star to the tree in the woods."
